The Tourism Infopoint Buzau is strategically located in Berca on the way to the Muddy Volcanoes – at the entrance of the future Geopark Buzau. This tourism information centre has been founded in 2012 and is a public-private partnership project between the village of Berca and TravelBuzau. The Infopoint was originally a bus station and in the end used as public toilet and rubbish deposit. With support of local craftsmen and sponsoring of TravelBuzau it has been completely renovated and transformed into a small house.
The centre is self-financed and offer local artists the possibility to expose their work.
