Cob Village Berca

Description: Cob Village Berca – which is still in the construction phase – has been heavily mediatised in the whole country as unique idea of an ecological village, built with natural construction material.

In fact, the privately owned village is a plagiarism concept. The current concept is far away from being an example for an ecological village. Cob is a natural building material made from sand, clay, water, some kind of fibrous or organic material and earth. Despite the original concept the future restaurant and largest house of Cob Village Berca has been completely built with strandard bricks and is just covered with earth. Furthermore, the whole entrance and garden area of the village have been covered with tons of concrete.
