The Carpathian Mountains region of Buzau is a paradise for off road, motocross and Enduro aficionados. Every year, the national and international off road elite is meeting for training and competitions in Buzau. For the first time, in 2011 took place the Enduro world championship. Highlight of the season is “Romanian Extreme Adventure”, a sort of rally Dakar with an off road track of more than 1.000 km in the region. In 2014 took also place the Motocross European Championship. The following off road tours with professional drivers can be organised in the region:
